DISCLAIMER: CHEATING CUSTOMERS BY MISUSING OUR airpay BRAND NAME
We want to bring your attention to the fact that unauthorised individuals or organisations are impersonating airpay in correspondence made from fake email ids to cheat people and extort money in lieu of service fees/charges/taxes etc. We emphasise that airpay does not charge consumers or other individuals any fees under the guise of initiating a refund.
This scam has come to our attention, so we have begun to warn the public so that they do not provide confidential information or take action based on these bogus emails. Please note that official airpay email addresses always end in @airpay.co.in or @airpay.buzz. Any messages sent from email addresses with other endings must be considered fraudulent.
We deny any responsibility for the statements mentioned in these communications. In addition, airpay is not responsible for any losses or damages that may result from such fraudulent activities.
In addition to the preceding examples, scams can take other forms. Thus, the importance of prudence and alertness cannot be overemphasised. Hence, we encourage you to be wary of unsolicited emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication that request your personal or financial information or payment in our name.
Please notify our team immediately by emailing customercare@airpay.co.in when you become aware of any inappropriate use of our brand name or if you have any doubts about the legitimacy of any correspondence supposedly from, for, or on behalf of airpay.
If you see a charge that you do not recognize, it may be fraud. Before you report fraud, please make sure that neither yourself nor an authorized user made the transaction.
You may report fraud to airpay by contacting directly at dispute@airpay.co.in.
